Reintegration of the Returned Georgian Migrants
Supporting the reintegration of returned Georgian migrants is one of the key priorities of the Georgian government. Funds from the state budget have been allocated for relevant programs and projects to support the reintegration of returned Georgian migrants since 2015.
From 2020, Internally Displaced Persons, Eco-migrants and Livelihood Agency administers the reintegration program with the aim of providing reintegration assistance services to returned Georgian migrants.
Within the framework of the program “The Reintegration Assistance to Returned Georgian Migrants”, the returnees shall have the access to the following services: provision of medical care, funding of social projects, facilitation of vocational education, and providing temporary accommodation.
